The Peacock Lounge - Vaudeville Club

Peacock Lounge proudly presents Poetry Under the Arches, a monthly open-mic night dedicated to showcasing original verse from local writers and hosted by the Huddersfield troubadour Gareth Durasow. All you need to do is bring your poems, bring your friends and enjoy what is set to become the town’s premier poetry evening.

Gareth Durasow is a poet, playwright and performer with a tendency to run with the mainstream hares and the avant-garde hounds. His poetry has been widely published and has won prizes at Ilkley and Huddersfield Literature Festivals. His plays for the award-winning theatre company Horizon Arts have won nothing at all.
